How to interpret the preposition “BEFORE” when determining the end of a period in a document
When interpreting the terms of a contract, the court takes into account the literal meaning of the words and expressions contained therein. However, the opinions of linguists on the issue of the literal interpretation of the prepositions “before” and “by” differ. Some authors believe that with the wording “until February 19,” the limit when the action must be performed is 24:00 on February 18. If the deadline is set “until February 19,” then the limit for performing the action is 24:00 on February 19.
So, the norms of Art. 14 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation determines that legal relations between employers and hired employees begin on the specific date of signing the contract or another date of the month specified by its terms;
- the established time periods expire accordingly on the specified date of the last year or month;
- if the period is taken as a number of calendar weeks or days, non-working days are also included in this period.
Each week lasts 7 days from Monday to Sunday, and the start and end dates of the week can be completely different - from 1 to 31.
The promotion is valid until May 5 inclusive, the number of bonuses is unlimited. Is October 10 included in the specified period of time, if the contract understands what is inclusive?
Surgical abortion
An undesirable method of terminating pregnancy is uterine curettage, i.e. removal of the fertilized egg using a curette. In some cases, the method is used for a period of 10-12 weeks, but in this case complications are possible.
A curette, a metal instrument with a sharp loop at the end, is inserted into the uterus through the cervical canal. Before 10 weeks, the fertilized egg is removed entirely, and after 10 weeks it is cut into several parts.
This abortive method has an extremely negative impact on a woman’s health. Her internal os of the cervical canal is damaged, which leads to isthmic-cervical insufficiency (the cervix is dilated more than normal). Curettage of the uterine cavity after removal of the fertilized egg leads to damage to the basal layer of the uterus, and this is a direct path to inflammation, endometriosis and other problems.
Up to what grade is music?
Author of the question: Shchukin O. Created: 02/27/22
Music lessons at school begin in the first grade. And these are not only practical classes, but also the study of musical literacy, history and theory of music. And they continue to study this subject until the seventh grade. 2. In different schools, music is studied differently, I mean it can end in the 8th grade, or in the ninth, or in the seventh, but inclusive. If the school does not have a musical focus, then music usually ends in the eighth grade, and in 9-11 it is no longer there. There are schools where music is studied only up to 7th grade.
