The most common schedule is 2/2 shifts of 10 or 12 hours.

The Labor Code contains information regarding scheduling. Everything is described quite clearly, but you should pay attention to some issues:
- The duration of time during the week should not exceed 40 hours.
- A lunch break must be provided, the duration of which must be at least 30 minutes.
- Rest time must be at least 42 hours.
- It is the employer's responsibility to issue the task and monitor completion.
- If it is necessary to develop separate work schedules for each organizational structure in an enterprise, then the duration of the shift may also change. If the work time falls at night, then the shift is automatically reduced by an hour.
- When drawing up a schedule, you should take into account the norms of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation so that the rights of workers are not violated when paying wages and paying sick leave.
Pay for labor
When calculating wages for work on a shift schedule, you do not need to adhere to standard frameworks. The total number of hours spent on work differs from the standard, and the hours may be more or less than required. That is, it turns out to be both a defect and a rework.

In fact, the duration of the working day is adjusted accordingly, that is, upward compared to what is specified in the contract.
Needless to say that in terms of content, the vast majority of works are purely debilitating and fattening? And after work, I’m terribly reluctant to do anything other than watch TV and sleep - well, in the best case scenario, read some “yellow” newspaper with “scandals, intrigues, investigations.”
The inevitable consequences of such a “rest” after long hours are stress and a lot of illnesses. The body does not recover, but only simulates recovery, while the work on moral and physical wear and tear continues.
We present to your attention a note on how to be, without exaggeration, in excellent physical and intellectual shape with a 10- and even 12-hour working day.
The author of this note considers himself competent in matters of time management (at least in this aspect), because he works 9-10 hours a day, has additional income in the form of tutoring, is an active first-class athlete - and even manages to do everything This means reading books and scribbling notes. Therefore, I address my recommendations to those who work more than 8 hours, but strictly until 12.
As for those who are stuck at work for 13-15 hours, the author scratched his turnip and came to the conclusion that he has no idea what to offer these poor fellows, except perhaps sleep for at least 5 hours a day. But for moderate fanatics and unfortunates, there are still some systematic recommendations for getting yourself in order.
Recovery from a job you love involves four basic components:
- dream,
- nutrition,
- physical exercise,
- intellectual loads.
They can be balanced and organized in different ways, and this is the key to productivity or counterproductivity.
1. Sleep
You need to sleep at least 5-6 hours a day. On weekends, you can give yourself free rein and sleep for 8-10, or even more, hours.
But regularly sleeping a lot is still not recommended if we are talking about irregular working hours, as well as the desire to do something else besides this ill-fated working day and sleep itself. With prolonged sleep after hellish work, everything, in fact, will come down only to sleep and work - well, at most, to some other household chores. And besides, regular excess sleep inevitably weakens you and makes you dull and lazy.
At the same time, sleeping less than 5 hours is also extremely undesirable: the body simply does not have time to recover and works to the point of wear and tear, and the cardiovascular and digestive systems suffer first of all. And this is not good. But the indicated 5-6 hours are quite enough to reboot and completely restore the body.
2. Food
Here I will allow myself to move away from the stereotype about “healthy eating” and voice the opinion that you need to eat what you want - and in the quantities you want . Without any restrictions at all.
Well, think for yourself: not only are you like a cornered horse at work, but you will also limit yourself in nutrition, and according to far-fetched stereotypes imposed on you! Do you need it? If your body demands from you, say, a multi-layered hamburger, and not a leaf of lettuce, then you will probably have to give the harmful organism what it asks for, otherwise sooner or later it will rebel and inevitably make itself known - in the form of depression, apathy or in the form of a bouquet of sores.
Many will reasonably object: but if you eat whatever and as much as you want, there can be no talk of any good shape! Right. But only if a person avoids physical activity in every possible way. If he loads himself physically, then there is no need for diets, “fasting days” and the like. About physical activity - the next point.
3. Physical activity
You need to exercise at least 5 minutes a day - every day. If possible, and if playing sports brings you pleasure, do more. The main thing is that physical activity does not exhaust you, but, on the contrary, tones you up and gives you determination to start another working day. It’s probably not worth crawling back to the office exhausted and with your tongue on your shoulder after a 10-kilometer forced march. In principle, a simple warm-up exercise is enough, that is, simple exercises for flexibility and coordination (turning the head, turning the body, bending, etc.). If there is gunpowder in the flasks, you can add some more complex exercises, such as push-ups, squats, pull-ups, jumps, crosses and the like.
By the way, about cross-country... I would still not recommend going too extreme with cardio loads during a 12-hour working day. Exercises that intensively load the cardiovascular system require long-term recovery, but you simply do not have it and cannot have it with your schedule. For an office clerk with an irregular schedule, running a marathon, or even a half-marathon, is, to put it mildly, quite unsafe. Strength exercises (in the format of powerlifting, bodybuilding and fitness) carry nothing but benefits and advantages - again, if you approach the issue competently and do not “rush”. Remember that your goal is to be in fighting shape, and not to completely lose any form at all by working yourself out in the gym or on the treadmill.
4. Intellectual loads
To put your emotional state in order, it is critical to load your brain. Well, in general, the ability to think - it never hurts. Therefore, it is advisable to devote at least half an hour a day to some kind of intellectual work - no matter what: reading smart books, solving charades and crosswords, solving mathematical or some other logical problems, learning a foreign language, even just watching news on the Internet.
It is not necessary to study the philosophy of Husserl and Heidegger (especially since you will not lose anything in life if you do not study it), but in general, keeping your brain in good shape is always pleasant, although sometimes it irritates others.
The main thing when observing this point is not to demonstrate the results of your intellectual form to your superiors and colleagues, who most likely do not adhere to this point.

So, what did we get...
- 12 hours of work,
- 1-3 hours travel time (from home to work and back),
- 5-10 minutes of physical activity,
