You cannot apply for another leave retroactively.

Vacation is counted in calendar days, but does not include non-working holidays. If a holiday falls during the vacation period, it is extended by that day. For example, an employee goes on vacation for 14 days from March 1. March 8 is a non-working holiday and is not included in vacation. Therefore, the employee will return to work on March 16.
By law, vacation dates are determined according to a schedule that must be approved annually before December 17 for the year ahead. If you have few employees, then this document may only be needed during verification. Much more often, in small firms, vacation dates are determined during the year at the request of the employee, and a vacation schedule is drawn up to comply with formalities.
